“Board-Certified Neurosurgeon Joseph A. Shehadi, MD, FRCSC, FACS has joined the medical staff at Memorial Hospital and is now seeing patients in the Specialty Care Center, along with Physician Assistant Meghan Rauchenstein, MPH, MSPAS, PA-C.
Dr. Shehadi treats patients for cranial, cervical, thoracic, and lumbar issues and also sees patients with brain or spine tumors.
He is a graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine, where he completed his internship in General Surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital. He obtained surgical residency training at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri; at the University of Toronto School of Medicine (Ontario, Canada); and at McGill University (Montreal, Canada). He completed his fellowship in Neurosurgical Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Physician Assistant Meghan Rauschenstein sees patients and assists Dr. Shehadi with surgery. She completed a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Kentucky, Lexington and a Master of Public Health in Hospital and Molecular Epidemiology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.”
